A Day for Dancing

What a day Thursday was. It started at the elementary school where Audrey and the rest of the 3rd grade performed dances that they had been working on for weeks with “Dancing Diane”. Each 3rd grade class perfromed a different type of dance. Audrey’s class did a swing dance and it was awesome! They were the only class that had the whole audience clapping to the beat the whole time! Audrey was superb (of course) and had her beautiful smile on from start to finish. They got to perform twice. One assembly in the morning and one in the afternoon. We were so happy that Daddy, Grandma, and GiGi were able to come and see her!

What a natural!

What a natural!

Thursday evening brought more dancing! Audrey and Gracie took a tap/jazz combo class at the community center and I was able to release my inner teenager and take an adult tap class (tap is my constant love). We all performed at a recital Thursday night. It was nice of Grandma, GiGi, Deanna, Valerie, Auntie Coco and Uncle Gene to come and support us. Of course, Marc, Carson, and Sophia were there as well. My girls did great! It was fun to see Audrey and Grace doing their cute Jazz dance together. They of course, were the best ones in the class!
Congrats Coria girls for a job well done!

  1. OF COURSE they were the best in their class. That goes without saying right? 😉 So where are the pictures of you during your recital. I would have loved to see those! I bet you were awesome! That is so fun.

On the boy’s “naked” song…it was an original tune. 😉

  2. What?!? No photos of you tapping? I remember when I first moved into 2nd ward, you were pregnant with Grace and tap danced in a skit for enrichment. Fun times.

  3. So you want a photo of her tapping?

She wouldn’t let me video so this is all there is…

  4. Thanks Marc (sarcastic tone intended). Are you sure the camera only adds 10 pounds?

  5. In some families that photo post would be grounds for divorce! Marc your lucky your married to a forgiving saint!

  6. Loved the day of dance performances and of course Audrey and Gracie were the best and of course so were you. Had so much fun watching you dance, it brought back a lot of fun fun fun memories. I loved the way your ponie tail swung back and forth and your great smile always.

Audrey’s school program was excellent and I was so glad I could come and watch it. Good job Audrey!!

The night dance recital was fun too. Glad Gracie and Audrey could dance in the same group, smiles abundant from both of them, keep it up girls.
