When I was reviewing Audrey’s homework tonight something really took me by surprise (don’t know why). It dawned on me that what she is learning in the 4th grade didn’t even exist when I was in the 4th grade. STRANGE!!

That is so interesting. Did Audrey even know what an encyclopidia was?
I especially liked that she wrote “an” internet. It’s important to remember that there are several internets to choose from, and that one of them is sure to have the most recent list of endangered animals. Of course, most people only know about the one internet that is commonly accesible to the general public, but high ranking government officials (eg. George W. Bush) have occasionally slipped and referenced the “internets” thus alerting us of the existence of these other networks. I am proud that Audrey has showed such an awareness of these secret internets.
Love it!
