Last Thursday, July 31st, was open house night at the high school. I was able to switch shifts with a co-worker so I could be there to hear Sophia’s choir sing their first gig of the year and meet her senior year teachers. So far, school is off to a good start. Sophia likes her teachers and her classes have been easing into the start of school, so nothing has been too demanding yet. This year Sophia is on choir council as the Librarian. She also has the honor of holding the pitch pipe for her Treble Maker Choir (TM’s). Below is the debut of the 25-26 TM’s singing the National Anthem. Sophia is on the far right end with the dancing arm (that she later called “diabolical” after seeing the video). She also started off the group by playing their starting note on the pitch pipe.
