Happy New Year!

I know this is long overdue.? We had sacrament meeting talks this past Sunday on procrastination.? I think this blog falls under that category.? I think it is safe to say that we won’t be posting more than once a month.? I don’t want to set unrealistic goals for myself in the new year.?

Well, Christmas was great and it was much fun spending time with Marc’s sister and her family.? We miss them terribly and felt fortunate to spend time with them over the break.? We have many new happenings in our family that we would like to share.?

First of all,? Audrey turned 8 yesterday!!!? She had a “Horsey” birthday party with some school friends here at the house on Friday evening.? The girls and Carson were cute in their horse tails and ears prancing around the backyard playing horse games.? Next on the agenda is Audrey’s baptism.? Februrary 16th is the special day.? Audrey and I got to go shopping with my mom to buy Audrey’s special white dress.? She looks like a beautiful young lady.? Thanks G.G. for the wonderful dress and shoes that Audrey will wear with her beaming smile on her special day.? We look forward to seeing Von, Aaron, Carmen, and Sylvia who are all making the sacrifice of coming from out of town to share in this important day in Audrey’s life.

Also, very importantly, Gracie has announced her first loose tooth.? I will keep you all posted on the progress.? She is very excited to have her first visit from the tooth fairy, especially since her cousin, Bryce, who is six months younger than her has already lost two teeth.? “NO FAIR” are Gracie’s thoughts on that matter.

One more piece of information from our family in this new year can be found in these pictures that I took from our living room wall…..

Yes, that’s right baby number 4 will be joining us late this summer.? We are all very excited and can’t wait to see our love grow as a family.?

?Until next month,

Ginger

Christmas Letter 2007

Merry Christmas!!

The wonders of technology!? I am actually writing this Christmas letter after I sent the cards this year!? I wasn’t going to write one at all, but thought that some of you might be interested in the comings and goings of the Coria family 2007.? We did have quite a busy year as I sit and contemplate all of our activities.? Let’s see if I can break it down by month.

?January😕 Marc and Ginger have now been married 10 years!? WOW!!!? Marc got braces, Audrey turned 7, and we tore up our floor in hopes of completing the project within a couple of weeks.

Demolition Men

February:? Living in a construction zone takes patience, especially with 5 small children running around the house (our 3 and the 2 Ginger babysits).? Ginger turned a year older, yippee!?

Construction Zone

March:? We finally completed our floor during spring break! (Long story, too painful to hash out again, just find peace in the fact that it is done and we love it.) Our new tile covers the kitchen, dining area, living room, hall, laundry room, and both bathrooms!?

April:? Nothing exciting.

May:? Carson turned 2 with a “Cars” party.? Boy does he love those wheels!? He has to be the cutest boy ever (we’re not prejudice at all).? Gracie completed Kindersteps and is ready for Kindergarten come fall (or rather summer for us year rounders in Chandler).

Happy Birthday

June:?? June was a very busy month.? Marc and Ginger enjoyed a fabulous, many years in the planning, trip to Hawaii to celebrate their 10 wonderful years of marriage.? It truly was paradise and we feel blessed to have family to care for the children while we were away.? We spent 10 days and saw 2 islands (Oahu and the big island of Hawaii).? We went with our great friends Steve and Elise who celebrated their 10th this year as well.? What an exciting time for us, I still can’t believe that we went!!!? Check out our website for photos of the grand occasion!? Upon returning home, Marc attended a GIS conference in San Diego so His mom and Ginger drove up with the kids at the end of the week to spend a weekend on the beach.? We didn’t want the kids to feel jipped out of a vacation after we got to go to paradise (talk about guilt).? We can’t forget the pumpkin we grew by accident in our front yard.? The kids had so much fun watching it grow and carving it upon returning from our California trip.

July:? Time for school!!! Audrey started the 2nd grade and continues to be a fantastic student!? Gracie is in Kindergarten and loves it!? She is her teacher’s “go to girl” and helps out her classmates often.? We are so proud of the both of them!

August:? Marc turns another year older and is released from the Elder’s quorum 1st counselor to be put in the Young Men’s presidency as 2nd counselor.? He is enjoying this calling, but Ginger is not enjoying his overnights away with the scouts.

September:? Ginger was released as the primary president after almost 3 years and called to be ward choir director (YIKES!!!)?

October:? Halloween of course!? We had 2 fairies and an Elmo this year.

Halloween

November:? Thanksgiving was spent in Littleton, Colorado with Marc’s family.? His little sister and her family moved there in June so we all made the trek up and spent a week.? It was much fun, and much freezing!!? So, the snow you see in our family picture is real and so is the pain of cold on Carson’s face!

Coria Family

December:? Gracie will be 6 by months end, I can’t believe my Christmas baby is going to be 6!!? She is such a character and keeps us all laughing.? We all are very excited to be awaiting Audrey’s baptism in February, it gets much discussion in our home.? She is turning into such a sweet little lady.

?Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!? We are making a goal to keep up on our website this year and I will work on our blog.? Please visit us frequently online and see what’s new!

Much love,

The Corias

My first run at posting a blog.

Well, this being my first posting it will probably be uninteresting and short.? This is mainly for practice and for Marc to teach me how to do this.? Hopefully (and most likely) no one will read this anyway.? I will be posting a picture as well because, well, again, I am “learning” (emphasis placed on the first syllable) as Marc likes to say.

We visited Veronica and Aaron in Colorado during Thanksgiving week.? It was quite a drive so?we were glad to get there.? The kids got to see snow fall for the first time.? They have been to the snow in Long Valley, AZ before, but it had been on the ground for some time.? We also decided that this was going to be one of the few times the family would be together so we took advantage and took family pictures.? It was very?COLD and there were some flurries.? If you pay attention to the photo you might pick up some specks of snow in the air.

Welcome to the Coria’s Blog

I won’t be adding much to this site, but my wife will.
